The wooden roof is made up of different layers which, depending on their presence/absence, will affect the final price. An unventilated roof will cost less as it does not require the ventilation layer. The ventilated one, on the other hand, is more expensive but has significant advantages. In particular it is composed of:

wooden load-bearing structure; vapor barrier, which regulates the passage of vapor from inside to outside; ventilation layer, which has the function of keeping the materials of the structure dry and guaranteeing their durability over time; heat-insulating layer, which prevents the escape of heat in winter and maintains a cooler environment in summer; strip that allows the covering to be supported; covering, in different materials.
